Land Use/Real Estate Associate - Boston, MA

Robinson+Cole, an Am Law 200 firm, seeks an associate to join its land use and real estate transactional practice in the firm’s Boston office.  Robinson+Cole’s real estate and development practice includes more than 30 attorneys who represent businesses, landowners, developers, institutions and government agencies in matters involving land development and transactions both locally and throughout the country.  Our strong land use team includes many attorneys and land use analysts with advanced degrees in city planning or related disciplines.  We appear regularly before local boards and agencies and we support and encourage our attorneys to be actively involved in their community and in national and regional professional and industry organizations.

Qualified candidates will have between two and four years of experience advising property owners and developers, companies, organizations, and government entities on a wide range of land use and real estate transactional and finance matters.  They should be experienced with zoning and other local, state and federal permitting and public approval processes.

Admission to the Massachusetts bar is required.  Top academic credentials, excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills are also necessary.  Experience or education as a land use planner is a plus.

ERISA Litigation Associate - New York, NY

Robinson+Cole, an AmLaw 200 firm, seeks an associate with at least three years of complex litigation experience to join its Litigation Section in its New York, NY office. 

Robinson+Cole has one of the leading insurance practices in the United States, focusing primarily in insurance coverage litigation for property casualty and life, health, and disability insurers.  The firm is also one of the few firms in the Northeast and Florida with a specific team of lawyers and nonlawyer professionals who focus on advising and defending employers, plans, and insurers in connection with claims for employee welfare benefits. 

We are looking for a candidate with superior academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, and large-firm or equivalent experience to join our team.  The successful candidate will be expected to assume substantial responsibility, including drafting of briefs on critical motions, management of discovery, depositions and court appearances.  Admission to the NY bar required.  Law review experience and/or judicial clerkship experience are a plus.  ERISA experience required.

Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate - Miami, FL

Robinson+Cole has one of the leading insurance practices in the United States, focusing primarily in insurance coverage litigation for property casualty and life, health, and disability insurers.  The practice in the Miami office is heavily concentrated in the litigation of a broad range of property insurance disputes, including those arising out of Hurricane Irma, as well as some coverage disputes under commercial liability insurance policies.  The position may also provide some support for the firm’s health insurance litigation practice.

Robinson+Cole, an Am Law 200 firm, seeks an attorney to join its Health Law Practice Group in Hartford, CT or Stamford, CT.  Qualified candidates will have at least five years of experience advising health care providers on transactional and regulatory health law issues. In addition, qualified candidates must have excellent written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills as well as superior academic credentials.
