Amanda Gordon is a member of the firm's Litigation Section, representing managed care organizations and health, life, and disability insurers. Ms. Gordon's experience includes litigating health benefits claims involving breach of contract, medical necessity, fraud, and misrepresentation claims as well as counseling and representing health industry clients in risk management and staff privileges matters. She has also devoted significant time to the representation of pro bono clients, including managing and participating in the firm's Domestic Violence Restraining Order program.
Prior to joining Robinson+Cole, Ms. Gordon was an internal auditor for the State of Connecticut's Judicial Branch, where she helped to improve financial controls and prevent fraud and abuse.
While attending law school, Ms. Gordon served as research and symposium editor of the Quinnipiac Law Review and was president of the Quinnipiac Moot Court Society. She was also an intern in the chambers of United States District Court Judge Dominic J. Squatrito. Ms. Gordon was a summer associate at the firm in 2010.
