Anthony Vogel focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, including the representation of clients in commercial leasing and financing transactions and the acquisition and disposition of commercial real property. He is a member of the firm's Real Estate + Development Group.
Anthony represents landlords and tenants in complex commercial lease negotiations for office, industrial, and retail space throughout the country. He drafts, negotiates, and closes lease agreements for complex and varied real estate transactions. He recently handled the sale and leaseback of a 300,000-square-foot warehouse in New Jersey.
Real Estate Acquisitions and Dispositions
Anthony assists clients in buying and selling commercial real estate across the United States. He negotiates, documents, and closes complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, and assists in conducting due diligence and handling title matters. He has handled multi-million dollar transactions, including the $800 million sale of an office building in Manhattan.
Real Estate Financing
Anthony also assists clients with all real estate financing needs, including the structuring and negotiation of mortgage and mezzanine loans. He has experience representing both borrowers and lenders, and recently helped a building owner secure a $7 million rehabilitation loan in Connecticut.
Anthony does pro bono work for the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford, including assisting the organization with sub-leasing space to tenants. Mr. Vogel regularly participates in the organization’s fundraising events.
Prior to joining Robinson+Cole, he was an associate in the New York office of a 450-lawyer firm, where he represented purchasers and sellers in the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets, landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions, and lenders and borrowers in commercial real estate financings. Before he was admitted to the bar, Anthony was an associate at Morgan Stanley, where he was a controller in the oil liquids group.
