April O’Neil is an analyst in the firm's Environmental, Energy + Telecommunications Practice Group. She has more than 17 years of experience working as an analyst for various governmental agencies and public utilities. April provides research and analysis services for the firm’s energy clients, including retail electricity suppliers and renewable energy companies, and municipal clients.
Prior to joining Robinson+Cole, April served as a Senior Policy Analyst to the Commissioner of New York City’s Department of Environmental Protection, where she was responsible for project management and policy implementation for drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, air quality, noise pollution and asbestos-related projects. Her experience includes strategic planning, reporting and project management for implementation of environmental policy as it relates to the goals of OneNYC. April was previously employed as a project manager in Massachusetts by the Springfield Water and Sewer Commission for more than a decade, where she implemented many operational, educational and customer service programs related to the water and wastewater operations for the City of Springfield.
