Christopher Bergan is a member of Robinson+Cole’s Business Transactions Group, where he focuses his practice on corporate, strategic, financial, and commercial transactions.
While in law school, Mr. Bergan was the recipient of a Fulbright Binational Business Grant. As a law clerk at a Mexican law firm in Mexico City, he drafted memoranda and due diligence reports and translated legal documents for a variety of projects, including the construction of a natural gas pipeline and a hydroelectric energy plant. Mr. Bergan was also a summer associate at Robinson+Cole.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bergan worked as an immigration legal intern for Community Legal Aid, drafting memoranda to help U Visa and Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) applicants in adjusting their immigration status. As a case manager at an economic development organization, he assisted immigrant job seekers in finding appropriate employment opportunities and ensured their success by working with them on job readiness skills.
Mr. Bergan is fluent in Spanish.
