Latanae Parker is a member of the firm's Business Litigation Group, where she represents life health and disability insurers in claim-related litigation. She also has extensive experience representing clients in general business litigation and insurance coverage matters.
Latanae has experience litigating complex and other general civil litigation matters in state and federal courts. Prior to joining the firm, she was an associate attorney with a Miami civil litigation law firm specializing in the areas of property damage and personal injury. There, she handled an extensive caseload of bodily injury claims in the representation of insurance carriers and self-insured businesses.
Latanae is a contributing author to the Employee Benefits and Compensation Group’s ERISA Claim Defense Blog, a platform that offers commentary and insight on administration and evaluation and litigation of group benefits claims as well as other compliance and litigation issues involving ERISA.
She served as law clerk to the Honorable Anne C. Conway and the Honorable Gregory A. Presnell of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
