Laura Farach is a member of the firm's Insurance + Reinsurance Group, where she focuses her practice on liability and property insurance coverage matters, as well as products liability defense.
Prior to joining Robinson+Cole, Ms. Farach was a litigation associate at a U.S. News & World Report "Best Firms" law firm and previously was with an AM Law 200 law firm where she represented numerous national and international corporate clients in complex litigation actions in state and federal courts nationwide. Ms. Farach also served as legal advisor to a United States Senator and had the honor of working on the confirmation of the first Hispanic-American Justice to the United States Supreme Court, Sonia Sotomayor. Additionally, Ms. Farach served as a foreign affairs liaison to a United States Congressman where she drafted numerous reports utilized in the passage of several congressional bills regarding human rights issues in off-shore detention centers. She also clerked for the Honorable Gill S. Freeman, Circuit Court Judge of the Eleventh Circuit of Florida, Complex Business Litigation Division.
Ms. Farach is a Florida-licensed insurance representative and has worked with the insurance industry for over a decade. She has taught financial literacy seminars at the University of Miami and in several schools throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties. She was the recipient of the Ford Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute Award and a finalist in the Goldman Sachs Global Leaders Program.
