Overview

When it comes to labor and employment compliance and being litigation-ready, we believe that proactive prevention is key, and having an appropriately educated workforce is a must. Robinson+Cole offers Board, C-Suite, in-house counsel, management, supervisory, and employee training programs designed to support organizations’ compliance initiatives related to labor and employment laws. We know that no two clients are the same; we offer customized, interactive training programs on a variety of topics including sexual harassment prevention, discrimination prevention, workplace civility and sensitivity, professionalism, ethics, workplace investigations, and wage and hour compliance. Our training can be presented to Board members (including committee members) and employees on a local or national scale, whether in-person or via webinar. Our innovative training satisfies legal requirements prescribed by relevant laws, such as sexual harassment prevention training that may be statutorily required. Failure to provide required training could expose an employer to potential liability, while evidence that an employer provided training can be a critical part of an employer’s defense of a harassment claim or lawsuit.

      • Designed and presented employment law compliance training for national human resources team of a national rail service company. 

      • Designed and presented Board ethics, employment compliance, and risk management training for national insurance company. 

      • Designed and presented customized manager training covering a number of high-risk issues related to employment law compliance for a national publicly traded energy company.

      • Designed and presented workplace investigations training for C-Suite executives and other senior managers, including the management of the company’s ethics hotline.
