Event Description

Sharone Korman will be presented with the L’Dor V’Dor Award during the Voices of Hope (VOH) Evening of Hope event on November 17, 2021. The virtual community gathering celebrates VOH's 13 years as a non-profit educational organization created by descendants of Holocaust survivors across Connecticut. Its mission is to promote a culture of courage to stand up against hatred through Holocaust and genocide education and remembrance. Sharone Kornman is the 6th recipient of the L’Dor V’Dor (from generation to generation) Award, which is given annually to an individual who has demonstrated a commitment to ensuring that future generations never forget. She has worked on various Connecticut initiatives since 1990 to safeguard the remembrance and lasting legacy of her parents and other survivors.
