Event Description

Robinson+Cole is pleased to sponsor the And So I Stayed Film Screening & Discussion as part of Interval House's "Purple with a Purpose" campaign in support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month 2021. The award-winning documentary is about survivors of domestic violence fighting for their lives and spending years behind bars after the legal system failed them. A panel discussion featuring formerly incarcerated survivor-advocate Kim DaDou Brown and film co-directors Natalie Pattillo and Daniel A. Nelson, as well as Interval House experts, will follow.

Interval House is Connecticut's largest domestic violence intervention and prevention agency. The firm is sponsoring multiple Purple with a Purpose events throughout the month of October, which are designed to remember victims lost, honor survivors, and celebrate advocates and donors who support Interval House clients on their journey to survivorhood. Lauren Sigg serves on the Interval House Board of Directors and Eric Daniels is an Honorary Director as well as a Founding Member of the organization's Men Make a Difference; Men Against Domestic Violence.
