    Biography

    Barrett Wilson-Murphy advises clients on legal matters relating to middle market domestic and international financings and restructuring transactions. He represents financial institutions, funds, finance companies and other providers of capital in various commercial loan transactions and in acquisition and private equity transactions. Barrett has experience working with clients with respect to mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and compliance matters. He is a member of the firm’s Business Transactions Group. 

    Business Transactions
    Barrett counsels clients on a range of business transactions, including private equity, venture capital financing, mergers and acquisitions, and other general corporate matters. He advises his clients in debt finance transactions throughout the capital structure. Barrett advises lower to mid-market private equity funds and family offices in connection with their investments, the management of portfolio companies and leveraged transactions. He also represents lenders in complex finance transactions, including senior, second lien, venture debt financings and mezzanine financings, on an asset-based, recurring revenue or cash–flow basis.

    Prior to joining the firm, Barrett was an Associate in the corporate group of an international law firm. 

    Volunteer Activities
    Barrett volunteers with the Achilles International Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans and has helped guide disabled Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans during the course of 20 marathons.

    Pro Bono

    Barrett has a strong commitment to pro bono work. He represents immigrant children in deportation proceedings through the organization Kids In Need of Defense (KIND).
