    Biography

    Samuel Maduabueke works with clients on a variety of corporate and transactional matters. He is an attorney in the firm’s Business Transactions Group.

    Mergers and Acquisitions

    Sam assists public and private companies with corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, and other strategic transactions.

    Business Transactions and General Corporate Services

    Sam represents clients in various corporate, strategic, financial and commercial transactions, including venture capital financing, private equity and other general corporate matters. 

    Prior to joining the firm, while attending law school, Sam represented low-income taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service and Connecticut Department of Revenue Services as part of the University of Connecticut School of Law’s Tax Clinic.

    Prior to attending law school, Sam worked in the audit practice of a multinational professional services network with headquarters in London. He also previously worked in the accounting departments of a multi-billion dollar apparel retail company and a Fortune 500 food and beverages company.

      • Represented Feutune Light Acquisition Corporation, a newly-organized blank check company, in completing its initial public offering on June 21, 2022. The firm’s Capital Markets + Securities Team advised on the offering, which resulted in aggregate gross proceeds to Feutune of $97.75 million.

      • Represented Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) in the sale of its home health and hospice operations to Amedisys, a leading national provider of home health, hospice, and personal care.
