    Biography

    Sharon Fry focuses her practice on the management and resolution of complex insurance matters, particularly in the financial lines. She serves as insurance coverage and monitoring counsel for domestic and international insurers, specializing in claims under directors and officers, errors and omissions, fiduciary liability, and employment practices policies. Sharon is a member of the firm’s Insurance + Reinsurance Group.

    Sharon’s experience includes evaluating the extent of coverage under primary and excess professional liability policies and assessing liability and damages for governmental investigations and various types of litigation, such as securities fraud, antitrust, ERISA, employment discrimination, mergers and acquisitions, and bankruptcy. Sharon has successfully negotiated the resolution of various claims and coverage disputes through direct discussions and alternative dispute resolution. Clients regularly rely on Sharon’s advice and guidance in their most high-profile and sensitive matters. Sharon also counsels clients on insurance products and the drafting of policy forms and endorsements.

    Sharon has experience with the Bermuda insurance market, and London insurance market, where she serves as coverage and monitoring counsel for various Lloyd’s syndicates. In 2010, she completed a secondment in London with a Lloyd’s syndicate.
