Stephanie Oppenheim combines her passion for helping people with her exceptional communication skills to help clients solve complex legal matters. She excels when matters require intuitive thinking and collaboration to plan and execute a cohesive and efficient legal strategy.
Prior to joining Robinson+Cole, Stephanie practiced at another AmLaw 200 firm where she supported multiple shareholders in managing numerous health care liability defense and telehealth matters. In addition, she drafted responsive pleadings, dispositive motions, written discovery, and prepared client-mandated defense strategy reports. Stephanie also served as a legal intern at Cigna Corporation assisting on legal matters including mergers and acquisitions, healthcare antitrust, litigation, and statutory/regulatory research on HIPAA/HITECH privacy compliance.
While earning her Juris Doctor, Stephanie was an active leader at various Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law societies and organizations, including the Villanova Health Law Society, Women’s Law Caucus, and the Middle Eastern/North African Law Students Association. She also served as the online managing editor for the Villanova Environmental Law Journal and was awarded the Journal’s Spirit Award for her exceptional work and participation.
During law school, Stephanie served as the Pro Bono Fellow for a Philadelphia-headquartered AmLaw 100 firm. Her commitment to pro bono service throughout the years earned her a Dorothy Day Award for Pro Bono Service upon graduating from law school. Stephanie is an active volunteer attorney with Philadelphia VIP, assisting indigent Philadelphians with estate planning, guardianship, and family law matters.
Outside of the office, Stephanie enjoys boxing, tennis, and being a devoted Philadelphia sports fan. She is bilingual, in English and French, and additionally speaks conversational Spanish.
