Biography
Audrey Goldman represents insurance carriers in complex insurance coverage matters, focusing on claims arising under commercial general liability, excess and umbrella liability, employer’s liability, D&O, and other commercial insurance policies.
Insurance + Reinsurance
Audrey also has experience representing and advising insurance companies in COVID-19 actions and multi-district litigation, mass tort, construction defect, construction accident insurance coverage matters, and bad faith claims. She advises and represents insurance companies throughout the life cycle of an insurance coverage dispute.
Audrey has worked on a variety of issues important to the reinsurance and insurance industries, including COVID-19 claims, fraud and misrepresentation, claims allocation, trigger of coverage, number of occurrences, late notice, additional insured coverage, priority of coverage, and navigating bad-faith claims. Additionally, she has represented corporate entities in high-value contract disputes.
Prior Experience
Prior to joining Robinson+Cole, Audrey concentrated her practice on insurance coverage disputes, bad faith claims and unfair claims settlement practices claims, and represented companies in commercial contract disputes.
While at the University of Miami School of Law, Audrey was the Associate Editor of the University of Miami International and Comparative Law Review. She also clerked for the Innocence Clinic at University of Miami School of Law, pursuing various forms of post-conviction relief for wrongfully convicted prisoners with the goal of exoneration.
